The Sixers lost their first playoff game, in the first round against the Pacers. After that they won three games in a row and went to the Eastern Conference semis. There they met the Toronto Raptors and lost game 1. That series went to game 7 and the Sixers won. In the East finals the series also went to the seventh game. There Iverson and 76ers won and went to the NBA finals meeting the Lakers. Even though almost everyone thought Sixers would lose, they took game one after overtime with Iverson scoring 48. But they lost the four last games and the Lakers won the NBA Championship.


1999-2000 Season

The 76ers played against Charlotte Hornets in the first round. That series ended with 3 wins for Philly and 1 win for Charlotte. In the conference semis, Sixers met Indiana Pacers just like in the 1999 playoff. After losing the first three games, they managed to win the next two games and made the series thrilling again. But in game 6, Pacers took controll and ended the series 4-2.


1998-1999 Season

In the first round the Sixers met the Orlando Magic, and they managed to beat them 3-1. The Indiana Pacers were the opponent in the second round, but then the Sixers didn't have a chance, losing 4-0.
