In May of 2004 US 11 will become Antique Alley Join me on the lawn of our 165 year old home on the highway between Chatt.Tn and B'ham Al. near Attalla(offering over 18 antique shops...see link) Reserve your spacious space by Feb. 1 04.Only $150.00 for the 4 day event! cashiers ck. or MO only! No refunds due to weather, otherwise, serious antique and craft dealers are welcome! Pets allowed on leash.Primitive camping on private land available. RV park nearby at Noccalula Falls.(see link). A portion of the money earned will go toward the Historic US Highway 11 project.I intend to document this highway from New York to Louisiana in a three fold project, a video documentary, website and companion book.I am doing this without a grant and am seeking sponsorship in the form of the donation of a good van or small motor home for traveling the highway, food and lodging along the way, help from local historians, videographers and writers and folks who have a story to tell or pictures to show.
