The Performing Company's Mission

The Beatriz Amberman's Hispanic Folk Ballet is the Virginia's premier Mexican Folkloric performing company. The purpose of the group is to educate and promote better understanding of Mexican culture and its impact in America through music, dance and lectures. The group is happy to share Mexican heritage with everyone interested. The group is often the feature performing artists at many local festivals, museums and local television.

Membership

The performing company is open to anyone interested in spreading the Mexican Culture. There is a required commitment of time and effort. There is a nominal fee for dance lessons in the children's group. Costumes are provided by the director. Everyone is welcome and no previous dancing experience is necessary.

All practices are held at Denise Wall's Dance Energy Studio located at 4020 Bonney Road in Virginia Beach, VA. Beatriz Amberman wants to thank the support of Denise Wall's Dance Energy Studio for allowing us the use of their facilities.
