Nabiki Tendo
Personality: manipulative money-hungry exploiter
Psychology: sociopath

Middle daughter of Soun and mercenary capitalist. Nabiki has the ability to squeeze money out of a turnip, especially Kuno. Upon discovering that Kuno is in love with Ranma-chan, when Ranma-kun is sleeping Nabiki splashes him with cold water and takes lurid photos of Ranma-chan. After Nabiki splashes her with hot water, Ranma-kun wakes up, believing that he has wet the bed. Nabiki also takes photos of Akane exercising. Later, she meets with Kuno and sells him all the photos after conning a meal, ice cream and coffee out of him.

On another occasion, after row with Ranma in which he calls Nabiki a 'normal' girl, Akane tells Ranma to get engaged to Nabiki instead. Nabiki quips that she'll take him. Akane warns Nabiki that she had better gets some good training at martial arts quick if she intends to go on with the engagement. The warning is immediately apparent. The reason that Akane has remained alive as one of Ranma's three fiances is her great strength in martial arts. Nabiki is immediately challenged by Ukyo to a fight to the death for Ranma. Instead, Nabiki offers to sell Ranma to her for 6,000 yen. "Sold!" squeals Ukyo only to be out bid by the arriving Kodachi. A bidding war ensues until the arrival of Shampoo who states that if they kill Nabiki, they won't have to pay anything for Ranma. "They're on to me!" mouns Nabiki, and Ranma has to fight them all off to save her while the girls fight among themselves as well. Soun blesses the new engagement as he doesn't care which of his daughters marry Ranma, as long as one of them does so that the Anything Goes Martial Arts dojo continues, that is, until he learns that Nabiki plans to sell the dojo and live off the profits.

Throughout the series, Nabiki is constantly taking advantage of Ranma, alternately splashing him if the situation calls for it or for the fun of it. She possesses a biting sarcasm and observes the happenings of the dojo with a dry wit which is most entertaining.
