Kodachi Kuno

Evil younger sister of Kuno and known as 'The Black Rose' of the School of Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics. This form of gymnastics is combat with no open handed attacks, only attacks with gymnastic objects such as hoops, twirling ribbons and clubs. She is the captain of the St. Bacchus School for Girls gymnastic team. She will do anything to win a gymnastic competition, particularly by attacking and crippling the opposing gymnastic team before the competition, usually initiated in a swirl of black rose petals.

After Kodachi takes out the Furikan gymnastic team, Akane agrees to take up the competition. Kodachi attempts to cripple Akane but fails to do so after the interference of Ranma-kun. Kodachi falls for Ranma-kun as he is the only one ever to defeat her. Akane manages to take herself out the competion during training with Ryoga through her own clumsiness and Ranma-chan is forced to takeover and represent the school. At the bout, Ranma-chan states her true name of Ranma Soatome at the match leading Kodachi to believe that Ranma-chan also claims Ranma-kun as her boyfriend. After a drawnout bout, Ranma fights and defeats Kodachi in the competition despite her trickery.

Not only is Kodachi an expert in the martial arts, she is adept at poisons, particularly paralysis gas and drugs, which she constantly uses on Ranma in order to entrap him into her lair of 'love'. With her obsession, trickery and poisons, Kodachi constantly plots to break up Ranma and Akane, as well as Ranma-kun and Ranma-chan in order to have Ranma for herself.

She also has a pet giant alligator named 'Mr. Turtle'.
