Houston International Poetry slams back into town for the fifth annual festival of words with venues around and in our diverse city.  Poets are encouraged to contact us to get on the schedule for one of the following venues:

"Word Burn" all scheduled poets to be recorded live on a CD
-- plus, collaborative mural painting--Returning this year to compose the mural is artist Stacy Smith.   Also returning for the Friday venue is the INSTANT ANTHOLOGY --bring up to 100 copies of one poem to share with others. Anthology cover art by Glynn Irby.
