2. George² Rosie was born on 23 May 1878 in Staxigoe, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He married Isabella Bain (see #3), daughter of Hughina Bain, on 8 Sep 1898 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died on 15 Feb 1949 in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, at age 70. He was a fisherman.
Children of George² Rosie and Isabella Bain (see #3) were as follows:

i. Donald¹ Rosie was born on 20 Oct 1898 in Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died on 28 Apr 1965 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at age 66.

ii. William Bain Rosie was born on 16 Nov 1899 in Staxigoe, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died on 7 May 1945 in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, at age 45. He was a fisherman.

iii. Jessie Bain Rosie was born on 27 Nov 1900 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. She died in British Columbia, Canada.

iv. Archibald Miller Rosie was born on 14 Nov 1902 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died before 1989. He was a locomotive driver.

v. Alexander Mathieson Rosie was born on 17 Oct 1904 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died in England.

vi. George Rosie was born on 11 Jan 1906 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died on 12 Jul 1999 in Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, at age 93. He was a senior master with the Northern Lighthouse Service.

vii. John Matheson Rosie was born on 13 Sep 1908 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died on 30 Aug 1981 in Inverness, Scotland, at age 72.

ix. Hughina Bain Rosie was born on 22 Feb 1912 in Wick, Caithness, Scotland. She died in 1999.

x. James Matheson Rosie was born on 22 May 1913 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died on 9 Feb 1980 in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, at age 66. He was a cooper and a railway worker.

Isabella² Bain* married George Rosie (see #2), son of Donald Alexander Rosie and Mary Helen Middleton, on 8 Sep 1898 in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. She died on 14 May 1966 in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, at age 88. She was a domestic servant.
