The little cat at the top of the page is Neko.
If you want Neko to play chase the mouse, just click on her. To stop playing, click on her again.

Eventually, I'll have a great page. You just have to be patient...

"A little patience, and we shall see the reign of witches pass over, their spells dissolve, and the people, recovering their true sight, restore their government to its true principles. It is true that in the meantime we are suffering deeply in spirit, and incurring the horrors of a war and long oppressions of enormous public debt...If the game runs sometimes against us at home we must have patience till luck turns, and then we shall have an opportunity of winning back the principles we have lost, for this is a game where principles are at stake."
--Thomas Jefferson, 1798, after the passage of the Sedition Act.

The president likes to say he made exactly the right decision on Iraq. Each new death of a soldier or a civilian, each child who loses a parent to the carnage, each healthy body that is broken or burned in this war that didn't have to happen, is a reminder of how horribly wrong he was.
-Bob Herbert, NY Times Columnist

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."
President Dwight D. Eisenhower
April 16, 1953

Beach back home in PR

That's my husband with my son back home in the tropics. It was my son's first trip to the beach. He was one month old.
This beach is very close to where we used to live. The picture always makes me wonder why we moved...
