HPWBA OPEN MEETING RESULTS: September 20, 2004-The membership received and approved a 'Feasibility of Merger' proposal.  This allows 3 representatives from HPWBA to begin discussions with the High Point BA & High Point YABA on the possibility of merging.

United States Bowling Congress-IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS: At the ABC & WIBC National Delegates Conventions this past season, the plan of merger into one National Governing Body named the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) was passed.  This season will be extremely important to all sanctioned bowlers, as local & state associations across the country look at merging into single associations.  The entire plan of merger is available online, along with the 'Transition Manual' at:  www.bowl.com.  A 'Frequently Asked Questions' section is available or you may contact your local association for any questions. This season, members should be aware of membership meetings due to a possible merger of your local associations.  All WIBC members are eligible to attend these meetings with voice & voting priviledges.  Members may be asked to show current WIBC sanction cards in order to vote. Posters will be placed in both bowling centers and members will receive e mail notices from High Point WBA regarding ALL membership meetings.
