47841's visit to the Scottish Highlands!
On Tuesday 1st July 2003, the booked 67 failed prior to working 1M16 2040 Inverness-Waverley portion of the London Euston sleeper.  In respnse, 37406, which had been stabled at Inverness' Millburn Yard was summoned to the rescue.  The following morning 47841 was then allocated to work 1S25 0450 Edinburgh - Inverness portion of the sleeper ex-Euston.  Thus making it the first and so far only virgin liveried piece of rolling stock to make it to Inverness.  There are of course photos, my trip to Culloden Moor did however prove unsuccessful because i wasnt paying enough attention and did not have the camera ready in time for 841's passing.  Hence Inverness pics:
