The
roots of HVF may be traced to the Study Group Meetings of the book Conversations
with God (by N D Walsch) that was held every Friday at Powerbooks (Pasay
Road). This Study Group was started by Jaime Licauco (now one of HVF's
honorary advisors) in the year 2000. Beth Natividad (now President of HVF)
was so inspired to go beyond the Study Group and do "something more". Specifically,
she envisioned a more committed organization that would embark on specific
projects in line with concepts found in the Conversation with God (CWG)
series and A Course in Miracles (ACIM).
Eventually, eight other spiritually-inspired persons accepted positions in the Board of Trustees of HVF. Since the initial Mission/Vision Session held last April 2002, the Board has been meeting regularly to discuss and implement projects for HVF.
