A rugged N.Y.C. Steam Switcher Locomotive and Sloped-back Tender
heads this realistic freight train. In addition to its robust die-cast metal body it features a working headlight, puffing smoke, 3-position electronic transformer-controlled forward-neutral-reverse, and a front-end operating knuckle coupler and New York Central markings. Sloped-back Tender features operating back-up light and trailing operating knuckle coupler.
The Rolling Stock Consist Trailing Behind This Hard-Working Locomotive Includes:
Operating #6325 N.Y.C. 4-wheel Crane Car. Its cab swivels and the crane and hook crank up and down manually for realistic trackside salvage operations. Operating #9247 N.Y.C. Searchlight Car. Its searchlight tilts and swivels to focus light where it's needed on your model railroad. #6127 N.Y.C. Bunk Car, to "house" your imaginary model railroad work crew. #6260 N.Y.C. Gondola with removable canisters. And last, but not least, #6916 N.Y.C. Work Caboose. Track and transformer not included.

Yard Chief Freight Train Set operates equally well on "O" and "O27" track, regardless of the track manufacturer (e.g. Lionel^â, K-Line^â , Atlas^â, Gargraves^â, etc.).
