Hidden Star Farm - Be a Part of the Legacy

Welcome to Hidden Star Farm. We are located on the North Shore of Massachusetts, which is a fantastic location for us- surrounded by beaches, state parks, and numerous other equestrian facilities, we are minutes away from some of the best places to ride as well as the most popular equine events in the state. Our 350 acres of land was purchased in the fall of 2007, it isn't just equine facilities. Of our land, 200 acres is devoted to growing some of the highest quality hay you'll find in this region. It is a huge undertaking, but one that is done with just as much enthusiasm.

Our main goal at HSF has always been to breed, train, and show quality horses. We have many different types of horses here, but all of them share a few things in common- they are here because they are some of the best in conformation, temperament, and performance ability. None of our horses are "just average"- they all have something special that separates them from the rest and caught our eye. Each and every horse has a job to do to earn their keep here, and they do it with enthusiasm.

-We've ben busy for the last 2 months, and have lots of updates for you!
-Our first cutting of hay is completed (finally!) and our fields have started growing back in preparation for our second cutting.  
-We've got our list of AHA Nationals contenders compiled!!! The horses are entered, and Canadian Nationals is coming up very quickly! 
-We've got another new breed coming into Hidden Star Farm- Haflingers!  Two stallions and 5 mares are now residing with us, and currently awaiting registration at the MR.  We look forward to adding more of this fantastic breed and showing them off in HF.  
-Our horses recently came home from the HF Committee Grand Opening Show, where they all did fantastic!  We thank the HF Committee Association for holding this fantastic event.

-With the rain expected tonight, we managed to speed through baling the hay we've already cut and we are using today to work on the site some more!
-We are still playing with features on our site to improve it.  Updates will now be featured here in this little box!

-As you may have noticed, HSF's site hadn't been updated for a while.  With our move to Massachusetts and trying to get the horses ready for this year's season, we haven't had time for the site. Since everything has settled down, we decided to take some time and update the site and make sure everyone has been filled in about our new facilites!  After this one, updates will be scarce for another few weeks while we are busy haying.  All of our pages on the main site have been updated, and we are also working on each horse's individual page.  
-We are excited to announce the success of Suo-gan CH so far this year.  She made her under-saddle debut, and has been placing consistently in every show so far!  We have her aimed at dressage and sporthorse under saddle, and it seems to be the right path for her.  In addition to her, we have had some other great showring successes too so far. 
-Earlier today, we recieved confirmation that our offer was accepted on Dust In The Wind CH.  We are extremely excited to be her new owner, and eagerly anticipate her arrival here at our farm.  We'll be sure to let you know when she gets here!  Thank you to Megan at C&H Ranch for this opportunity.
-Since last year, we have also acquired some other new horses from various spots.  There are too many to list off, but they were mostly Arabians or Half-Arabians.  The exception was a group of Friesians and one Paso Fino- the first of their breeds here at HSF.  We are happy to have all of them, and cannot wait for the new experiences we will have with them all.
