This webpage illustrates a project done for Sault College
in the spring of 2001. The project involved the Crystal Creek Trail System located at Hiawatha in
the City of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The project was sponsored by the Ecological Land Classification
Group of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (OMNR).
The purpose of this project was to create maps and profiles of the Crystal Creek Trail System for
future maintenance and to aid in the development of future nationally sancioned cross country race trails.
The project was done by Chris Ransom and Jason Biggar as a research project for the GIS Specialist post diploma program.
