About Me

My name is Louise Waters, also known as Daisy or Daisylou. I graduated in summer 2004 with a BA hons 2.1 in Creative Arts at the University of Birmingham.

Born in Dorchester, England, UK, I moved to North Wales when I was 5 years old and lived there until university. I attended Ysgol-Y-Castell Primary School in Rhuddlan, and then moved on to Prestatyn High School where I studied for seven years, pursuing my interest in art, gaining an A grade at A-level in Art & Design. This led me on to study dance, art and drama at The University of Birmingham. I specialised in textiles under the art strand, and gained a 1st for my final exhibition in this area.

Other Interests:

Aged 15 I began performing circus skills, an area I entered with my acrobatics experience that ten years of gymnastics to regional standard gave me. I am now competent in many areas of circus other than acrobatics including stiltwalking, juggling, fire spinning, devil stick and balloon modelling. This has taken me around the country to various events including Glastonbury Festival where I worked in the Kidz Field in 2007. I have also travelled to Athens with Brolly Circus, working at the Christmas in Athens Festival.

I also enjoy dance, ice-skating, painting and photography.
