Stacking Game

A stack game is where you have a Vanna White (someone who would make a good
you and possible recruit) a fake husband, an accountant, and a fake hostess.
I tell what an average party is $400. And say that gives this hostess
(sitting in middle of room) $80. of free and four half priced items.
Vanna's job is to lay and put all the items the hostess selects off my display
and lays them at her feet.  I instruct the pretend hostess to choose her
lower priced items for her free and her higher priced items for half off.  I
tell the fake husband to keep account of all the actual costs of everything
and the accountant will tally until $80. is spent then erase her calculator
and start over only adding overages and half prices.
The game begins as the hostess shops and I have the guests look up the prices
for the fake accountant and the fake husband.
Everyone gets auction dollars for participating and yelling out the prices
and the half prices. WHEN the hostess has spent her free and she often goes over, I say," I want
you to notice HOW MUCH PRODUCT OUR AWESOME HOSTESS GETS FOR BOOKING HER OWN SHOW!"  She can always go over.  Now accountant, erase $80. off your
calculator and lets start over, fake husband, you just keep adding all this
up. Now the hostess chooses her half offs.  Guests are yelling out the full and
half prices, your job is to tell the adding people what to put in their
calculators.  The accountant adds the half prices, the fake husband adds the
full price.
Then I have the hostess pick a hostess gift, I always carry two in my kit so
that they have a CHOICE.  I then tell the guests, that she worked hard before
her show and told her friends how exciting it is to have your own party and
she had two bookings ready for me when I got to her party.  I then tell the
accountant to add nothing to her calculator because the hostess gift is FREE
TOO!!! But the fake husband must add $30. to his calculator because the value
of a 2 booking gift is $30.
Then I say to the guests, "NOW LOOK AROUND OUR HOSTESS HERE!  SEE WHAT SHE
RECEIVED JUST FOR SHARING HER FRIENDS WITH ME IN HER HOME?
Fake husband how much is our hostesses grand total?  It is usually around
$300 or $290. something"  That is still a bargain for all these beautiful
items don't you think?"
"Now, accountant, what is  our awesome , hostess going to have to pay for all
of this?'
It is usually around $65. to $85.
Now you can hear a pin drop.  They are all thinking now of friends they can
invite to get the bargain of the century.
I have already instructed my guests not to fill out their own tickets at the
beginning of the show because of errors, and they are to come to me after the
party is over, I will help them with their tickets, it is then that I ask
each and every guest WHEN are they going to book their own party.  If they
say no, I ask kindly why not that it would be a pleasure to come to their
home and share our company with their friends and relatives.  It is here I
let her tell me any objections and deal with them there.  Then you book away.
Print this up and study it,  It took about two practices to get this right,
but it works wonderful.  Then before you know it, you're booking like a pro.
let me know how it turns out.
