Dear Francesca...

Dear Francesca,

I miss you so much, Francesca. It's not fair that we are separated in such a way. I miss your perfume that smelled of lilacs. I miss your smile that was so bright and shining. I know that I sound way too melodramatic, but I can't help it, Francesca. Your absence has brought out a lot in me that I never knew I had. People call me crazy and people call me stupid, but I don't care. Please, Francesca, write me soon. I miss your voice, but I think that could be quelled somewhat by the sight of your writing that was written by your delicate hand. Excuse me for going Shakesphere on you. Please write soon.

Love and God Bless,

Allan

Dear Francesca,

I'm so happy that you're returning home today, I'm ashamed of it. I can't wait, dearest. You know that today is the Miss Midway Contest. I know that you'll win, Francesca, I just know it. I was talking to my old English professor Mr. Everrman about how much I missed you, and he told me that writing myself out in letters would do it best. I didn't think it would work at first, Francesca, but it actually has. Mr. Everrman always has been and always will be the wisest man I know, Francesca.

I was disheartened to learn in your past letter that soon after you come home, you'll be travelling to Ridgeland to visit relatives. I'm not very happy about it, to put it simply, but I know that you must. Ah, how the letters will roll then. Soon, though, you and I will be together again, and that, my dear, will make me the happiest man alive.

Your Eternal Love,

Allan

Dear Francesca,

Dearest, I'm just writing you this little note to give to you at the contest. Despite what you think, I know that you're going to win that contest. Something in my heart keeps whispering to me (no, it's not indigestion nor gas) that you're to win, despite what everyone else thinks. Amber is nothing but a shallow nobody compared to you. You have substance, Francesca. You will see, my darling, for I have complete faith in you. I know you're the most smart and the most beautiful woman in all of Midway Prep. I just wanted to give you these few words of encouragement before the contest. Know that I'm here for you always, Francesca, as will be my love.

Your Believing One,

Allan
