latter of those probably being especially true. KISS's music was an escape for me from all the people who made fun of me for being tubbish. For being "weird." But I was "weird" for another reason... I was a KISS fan. There aren't very many KISS fans that I know of at my school. Not a whole lot of the kids at my school seem like the kind of people who would publicly say that their favorite band consists of four guys who wear platform boots, make-up, spit blood, play (GOD FORBID!!!!) GOOD music and all the other "crazy" stuff they do. And that's just too bad for them. They've not the slightest idea that they're missing the greatest band to ever walk on the Earth. They may not be the most talented musicians, but they don't really go around saying that they are. They just put on the best damn show you'll ever see. Without KISS, I'd also still be lonely. While not directly, it's through KISS that I met my girlfriend. And for that, I'm eternally grateful. |
