Okay,so a lot of fools do not accept women in Orders. They do not know what they are missing. Much of the church is neglecting,even suppressing its most valuable human resource. Mother Gabriella over the years has been my main support through many controversies I seem to attract lol.She is a fully ordained Deacon and would be a priest if and when she finishes those studies. I give my special people no slack,less than others actually. She has worked on this foundation with me from the beginning in 1993.She now has her own hermitage a distance away and can take it a little easier these days but she still does much of my outside errands so that I can be as much a recluse as possible.Those who prohibit women in Orders are fools and neandrethal pseudo- theologians.Some day a new generation may wake up to that fact. I pray so.There is some evidence that women were full-fledged Priests and even Bishops in the earliest Christian communities. Right now there is an exhibition in Greece of some never before seen treasures of the monastic republic of Mt. Athos in which is an icon of an obviously feminine celebrant of The Divine Liturgy. This 'have to be a man to be a priest' mentality is an invention of the 4th century church,not at all the most ancient of traditions. Those dominant characters in 4th century themselves referred to earlier church as the Church of the Ancients. 400 years is a long time. USA is not even that old yet.
