POLITICAL PSYCHIATRY :

I consider the use of psychiatry with political purpose a highly dangerous acttion from the government.

the danger lies in that, it so directly as possible is aimed against the mind and the sense. that it is extremly difficult for a legal defense, that it demoralize, discredit and humiliate the human being.

the danger is strengthened by the inhuman and lawless state on the psychiatry special hospitals. by our communities general conformism and hypocraty. and the communities closednes and lack of free press.

I stress that I here talk about any use of psychiatry for political and idiological purpose, not only the placement of healthy people in psychiatry hospitals.

actualy the authorities select as a rule their victims among people with some divergens from the norm. for most people a minimal divergens. that do not demand isolation.

the criteria for psychic health is by its natur - fluent - and that increases in an alarming way the possibility for mistakes, arbitrari- ness and crime. this is especially dangorous in a community with a totalitarian ideology.

the human rights commity and the workgroup for investegation of misuse of psychiatry have done a valuebale effort in the struggle against punishmentpsychiatry. a case og great impor- tents for the human rights movement.

the authorities om their side, are very sensibel to publication of material on this problem. in many lawcases against human rights figthers have these materials play an importent part in the accusations.

one must ask oneself, if this not also to some extent is happening in EU.

political psychiatry in the sovjet and china one always has critizied.

but that it also can be found in for instans USA and EU, one do not wish to talk about.

the only describtions of political psychiatry you can find today (2004) are from china. but without any doubt, there to some extend is political pschiatry both in EU and USA.
