Helltown 1961 was filmed on location ON SALE AT Vision Video -- Athens, GA So goes the blurb for Helltown 1961, a dreamlike scenario from a North American industrial city. The main character of the mayor portrayed by Charles S. Names is a mixture of historical political bosses. Steeped in corruption and greed he fills his wallet with alien money gained from selling the citizens who trusted him. The alien (Robert Ochoa) has the duty of being the contact between the aliens and the mayor. His faceless character has no emotion. He must use the mayor to obtain the humans the aliens desire for their experiments. After the mayor has no longer useful to the aliens, the mayor becomes the victim of a psychic attack from them. The aliens trick the mayor into thinking he will be redeemed and forgiven. While the mayor thinks he is being transported to Paradise, away from the self-made hell, he is actually been transformed into a younger version of himself, a 14-year-old soda jerk who has not yet corrupted his morality by an insatiable urge for money. For the 14-year-old soda jerk can now be used again by the aliens in their endless reaping of their human harvest. |
