Welcome to Hell's Kitchen... comprised from 34th through 59th streets and from 8th avenue to the hudson river....the real estate fucks have slapped the moniker "Midtown West" good fucking luck because that is NOT gonna stick...Clinton is also another name used for the area... but to those veteran New Yorkers whose families have seen the boundaries move from 14th through 52nd street and eighth avenue and the waterfront, the area will forever be known as Hell's Kitchen....

A stronghold of the Shadowfax/Scymitars..They moved to the Prospect Park area of Brooklyn...a sprawling mansion is their new home..Mão Preta...Many items were thankfully saved from what was once Shadowfax Castle by quick minded survivors, everything from the cathedral and several pieces from the castle itself...HoP has been moved to New York City proper. This city has become property of Malcontent Shadowfax, Rancid and Valeria Scymitar. They are Lords of the city and they bear final ruling on all disputes. This is a Sabbat city but you WILL be required to introduce yourself to one of the Lords of the city before continuing about your business.....The rules are as follows;

1. Hell's Kitchen is a kill/capture zone except for certain parts as mentioned below;

2. Mal, Ran and Val are Lords of Hell's Kitchen, meaning any play that is disputed will bear either or all of their final ruling, and it's just that, a final decision.

3. Certain areas of Hell's Kitchen are safe zones.. no kill no capture...HoP is one of them, the interior of the Scymitar/Shadowfax home....Mão Preta... the outside grounds are fair game once you get past the wards.... Also Lucchesi Headquarters is no kill/no capture. Everything else is kill/capture...

4. Hell's Kitchen is a FF/WW based room.. all powers must have a webpage to sustain them and be available immediately to show if asked.

5.Forced feedings, open sexual situations as they apply to RP is accepted in Hell's Kitchen.

6. As you enter House of Pain, your powers are removed, you will use no disc, boons.. whatever...the ring is caged and it's hand to hand... a street brawl if you will, under somewhat controlled conditions, once you leave the HoP your powers will be restored.

7. No forced RP will be allowed. If you are not responded to, then the RP is negated.

8. It is requested that OOC be kept to a minimum, We aren't anal about OOC, but if it becomes excessive, or an announcement is made, please take it to PM.

9. If you are an observer, please take an appropriate name and place ~o~ after your name, names like Obs, eyes, fly on the wall, etc. are not acceptable.

10. There will be NO blowing up the mansion, or the city, or HoP etcetera..Nothing.

11. No godmodding characters......they WILL be ignored.

12. No forced, anon or one post kills. If there is a death match there must be two judges, one of each camp or Mal, Ran or Val, to make a decision. If they are not there, but there is a dispute, script it for later decision.

13. This is a Mirror Zone as well, meaning your tags must indicate clearly where you're from and if your home is no kill, then you can't come here to kill. If you wear no tags, it's as if you're from a no kill zone. You however CAN be killed or captured either way.

14. There will be NO destruction of the city or mansion or the lands within or surrounding WHATSOEVER...certain wards protect the entire city..and it will NOT be allowed...taints, blowing up...whatever..will NOT be accepted, and will be negated immediately.

15.All players MUST have a character sheet available to be produced immediately when asked... POSTED on a website...otherwise their play may be negated completely AND they will be considered mortals.

16. Keep in mind that this IS Gangrel-landia...... so to speak... if you're foolish enough to come in and attack a Gangrel.. and his/her family is around... you WILL get the beat down if not killed by the pack.. all the ones present at the same time...Gangrels are tight knit packs and in reality, would a wolf pack sit back and watch as one of their own was attacked?...

17. Entry to the mansion is limited...there are wards put up by a Chango Laibon that CAN NOT be breeched....no matter what you are, who you are, or what powers you have...only Malcontent Shadowfax, Rancid or Valeria Scymitar can drop the wards and escort you in, this must be done...EACH time you visit, regardless of whether you've been here or not....only family can enter freely......period......dun like it..... go away...if you post that you got around the wards... and it's not approved by Mal, Ran or Val....your play is negated..

18. All new arrivals MUST present themselves to one of the Lords upon entrance into the city. Failure to do so is violation of the fifth tradition of hospitality. You MUST have the approval of one of the Lords to be in the city.

19. There is NO Masquerade anywhere in Hell's Kitchen.

20. Before you sire a chylder, you MUST have the approval of one of the Lords. Regardless of whether you live in the city or not.... ANY embraces occuring in the city at all, must bear the Lords' approval. If this is disregarded, there is an automatic bloodhunt called for sire and chylder. The Lords are the only ones that can lift the bloodhunt. This rule also applies to residents of Hell's Kitchen, no matter where the embrace occurs.

21. Any attack toward the Lords in this city is automatically grounds for execution.

22. When you approach the mansion, you will be entering onto mansion grounds via the Main Gates...which are locked and the wards set in place...try to climb over and you get fried....

23. When you're involved in a death roleplay...if you bitch OOC about it, or leave without posting...your character is dead and not playable.

24. Any OOC whining, bitching, moaning complaining about a death will result in a booted ass... and yer char's dead as well....soooo buck up, make another and try again.

25.There's a 7 minute post limit (clocked by the in room time posts) if your opponent posts to you in a death roleplay, and you dun answer within 7 minutes....your character dies by default...

26. My favorite rule....Maeb.... under any guise, along with Maharet and RAZZ......in the infamous words of Derek Vinyard....
