The end of the hWo

I knew it would come to this. I really did. My family problems have worsened since the hWo re-opened, but I've tried to put on a brave face and work on with the hWo, to turn it into a place where handlers enjoyed themselves. When I first opened the hWo, back in late 2000, I never thought it would grow to be as big as it now is. I really didn't. But as they say - "Good things come to an end".

I worked hard on keeping the hWo as well-run as I could expect to do, ignoring the problems that waited for me after I switched off the computer. I'd get into the details of family crisis, but I don't want to sound like an idiot explaining it all. Let's just say today put the nail in the coffin.

To say that the hWo will return is a lie. At least, it won't return under my Ownership. Over the past few weeks the events have been late, Tuesday and Monday respectively were when the results were posted, which just isn't acceptable. Discovering another blow in my family today summed it up - I'm unable to run the hWo. It would suck for me to keep the place running, knowing I couldn't give it my full attention and dedication.

I handle in four feds and run one...it's never been a problem for me. But things are finally beginning to creep their way back into my life, outside of eWrestling. I can't apologise enough for this, but it has got to be the way. I can't keep the hWo running...plain and simple. Being gone most of today in the middle of another family mess, It struck me that once more the results would be late. It's not good enough on my part.

I've been contemplating on closing up the hWo for several weeks now, though I didn't actually think I WOULD close it this soon. However, as I've said; there is no point in running a fed when you can't promise results which would be on time, or of quality. Nor is there a point in running a fed if it isn't a prioritory any more.

I'm sorry, but my life has got to come first. Some may say it's selfish, if you think that, I'm sorry. I'm sorry to everyone...every single person in the hWo...from the World Champion to the person who has never won a match. You've made eFedding a lot more fun that I thought it would ever be for me.

As you would understand, this has been a huge decision on my part. I don't want to do this, but it's for the best. I hope you all understand this.

I've a lot of thanks to make, and I guess now's as good a time as ever...

To Al (Thurman Skydive), a person who is great. I can safely say I've made a real mate in him, and I hope that even with the closing of the hWo that we'll continue to talk. Al, we've done a lot together, in the hWo, in the BCW, and in the MCW. I hope we can one day eFed again together. I'd like to thank you for your hard work and dedication, since early last year (2001). Your RPs have always been of the highest standard, and since the hWo's re-opening you've been more helpful than ever with writing matches for cards. Thanks a million man.

To Caleb (Jordan Michaels), the 'Unstoppable' himself! Caleb, you've handled in the hWo since May of sometime or early June 2001. Inside your first month, Jordan had won the World and Suicidal Titles. That shows a lot. Just how great you really are. You're a talented Roleplayer, very talented, and I have got to thank you for almost a full year of pure dedication to the hWo, both on a Roleplaying basis, AND the fact that you wrote matches nearly every card. I feel we've become good friends as well, and hopefully can continue to talk, and eFed together one day.

There are plenty others. People like Jim (Virus), who has been in the hWo for well over a year now, and has always wrote matches when asked. Jim has had his problems outside of eFedding, and still managed to RP, which showed dedication. I think I've made a friend in him too. Others come to mind, such as Pat, who has been the hWo Commissioner since we have returned, and has wrote matches for me since neXt hiT #1. Thanks Pat. More people, such as Chazz, Tommy, and Zack (Darvin) have recently helped out in match writing, and are all so, so talented Roleplayers. The three of them have been three of the biggest hWo stars since our re-birth.

Even more people - Allisa, who handles Allisa, Passion, and Alec Tricity. She has been a real friend, hell, is probably the longest serving hWo member too. She is a talented writer, both in Roleplaying and in match writing, and has done her fair share for the hWo, and more. Ash (Crossbone), for you I thank you. Your one match that you wrote for me won't even be read by others because of the circumstances. But your heart is in the right place. You offered to write matches each and every week, and have Roleplayed brilliantly whilst I have been in charge. Thanks a lot man.

Who else?

Matt (Chris Angel, Matt Reznor, Corruption X, Trent Borland) another great guy. He's been around for some time, and has been the World Champion at one stage with Chris Angel. Matt, you've been on of the best RPers I've had the pleasure of seeing, and you have too helped out with both banners and results for the hWo in the past. Thanks. And to Tim (Keller), the man some love to hate. It's been a pleasure whilst you've been in the fed. Your RPs were great, and you've always offered to make hWo banners for me, it's nice to see. Thanks.

To Randy AKA Wix Moran, handler of Dutch Blackheart, my sincere thanks also goes to you. Without you, perhaps I wouldn't have had the chance to own the hWo for a second time after bailing. You kept this baby afloat for some time, thank you so much. Your talent both RPing based and match writing based is amazing. Always willing to help, it's great to see man. You'll always be known to me as a great person, no matter what others say.

To Brian (Stunning Steve), a lot of people may not have heard of you as you haven't been around in some time, but you know why you're being mentioned. You saved the hWo...plain and simple. When I was out of town for a full three weeks, you made the hWo stronger than it ever was last Summer, and after I left, it was you who ran things around here. As well as being a great Fed Head, you too are a wonderful RPer, thanks a million. Also you have helped in the past with match writing, back in the day!

There's more. John (J), for his support. He, like Allisa, is one of the hWo's longest serving members. Your dedication did not go unnoticed John. And I thank you for your support recently for me and my family, you kept me strong, although I didn't come out and say that to you. Dale (Ric Harrison), who's dedication caught my eye. He has has helped with segments, match writing and other stuff behind the scenes since I've got to know him, and I tell you all, he is one person you want to talk to. Dale, you're a great guy, a talented RPer, and thank you.

There are more whom I've forgotten...unintentionally. To you I say thank you...thank you for whatever you've done, and you know that what you did has helped the hWo. I apologise for not remembering you, but this is a hard time for me to close the fed, so obviously I will forget people.

I'm sorry it has to be this way. But to be frank, I've sucked as a Fed Head anyway since the hWo re-opened. I've never been able to be it 100% because of my family problems, but I've tried my best...I really have. I beg you that I don't go out on bad terms with any of you, because I want no enemies from this. Hopefully we'll all meet again down the road, in a fed or whatever. All I can say is thank you to each and every one of you. You've made my time as an Owner a wonderful experience, and hopefully once I'm able to sort out my problems in life, I'll be able to fed with more of you.

I'm continuing to handle in feds, so I'm not about to jump off out of eFedding all together. But Ownership is too demanding a job for me to have right now. I hope you all understand this.

And so it ends here and now. Once more, I thank everyone whom I've mentioned, and just about anyone else. Whether you've been a Staff member, a handler, a fan, or whatever, I send you my thanks.

Good luck to you all in the future, both in eFedding and in life. I wish you the best of luck and hope you all remain healthy. Don't take what you have for granted, that's all I can tell you.

Finally the hWo finally closes. We couldn't be kept down up until now, and I'd like to have thought that some of you still have some respect for me, even with me closing up the hWo.

Goodbye...

Thank you...
