1965 Plymouth Barracuda

Engine Pull & Bar-B-Q

"NO MAN WITH A GOOD CAR NEEDS TO BE JUSTIFIED!"

(Taken 10/13/01)
On a Saturday some friends from my car club and I pulled the engine from my Barracuda. This was the 2nd time I tried this. The first time, some bolt decided to not come out. We got it this time.

This original plan for this car was to clean up and repair the engine while in the car. Well, that isn't going to happen now! The 273 is going to get a full rebuild. I will be taking the block to an engine shop in a few weeks. If the cylinders don't have to be over bored, I will continue with this engine. If it does..... its becoming a 318!

Yup! She is a mess, but will be very clean when reinstalled.

Thanks to Ed, John, Brian, and Duana for all their help with this pull.
