John Ellis Mirage From John Ellis is a scratch built Mirage from RCMW plans. Features fully functional sequenced wheel doors, Spring Air mains, home built noseleg, OS 91 VRDF engine with Intair Co. pipe. Aircraft is done in acrylic paint in ARDU RAAF colours and is 1/9 th. scale. (6/10/02) Unfortunately the model crashed a couple of weeks later.

Diesel start Interesting old diesel engine being run by John Manning and Bill Finteln.  Looks to be 1.5c, has no manufacturer name, has aluminium tank that fits to the rear of the engine.  Close up pic on the right shows needle side of the engine.  Maybe a Burford.  Can you identify this engine?  Email me if you have any details.
