Power Works Energy Technology Centre

It is the major information and interpretation centre for the region's power industry. It generates more than 85% of the electricity needs of Victoria. You will experience multimedia and interactive exhibits when visiting there. It also provided educational experiences for students of applying energy technologies exploring basic principles. Guided tours are run daily at 11am and 2pm or even groups booking at night of an open cut mines and power generation plants.

Morwell Centenary Rose Garden

It is one of the foremost in Victoria for travellers to relaxing. It was officially opened in November 1992. You can find over 3,000 roses of 250 varieties in the four acres of parkland. Traditional and the latest species of roses will introduce to visitors by the nametag next to each species.

 

 

It is available for photographs, special functions, and even wedding ceremonies. Proud volunteers maintain it attentively to ensure a magnificent floral display all year round and especially the “Celebration of Roses” festival every year on April.

Latrobe Regional Gallery

It is eastern Victoria’s major art museum and gallery, with seven galleries to show the unique collection of post-1970 Australian art. Recently, the adding of a private bequest of Asian art has given Latrobe Regional Gallery an Asia-Pacific regional focus.

However, the recreation facilities there are not quite enough.
