CheetaChatPro Instalation Instructions

To install CheetaChatPro you must extract the files to an empty folder, preferably one named
CheetaChatProInstaller, in the Program Files directory. After this is done, follow these steps.
Installing CheetaChatPro
1) Click Start
2) Click Run
3) Click Browse
4) Double-click on C:\
5) Double-click on Program Files
6) Double-click on CheetaChatProInstaller
7) Click cchatproinst.exe
8) Click OK
9) Click OK in the Run box
After you do this, install CheetaChatPro to a folder named CheetaChatPro in the Program Files
directory. Reboot the computer and try CheetaChat. If it says "Missing File: Mscomctl.ocx",
DON'T PANIC! This is what you do. Close all programs or minimize them. Be sure to Close
CheetChatPro too.
Installing Mscomctl.ocx
1) Double-click on My Computer
2) Double-click on C:\
3) Double-click on Program Files
4) Double-click on CheetaChatProInstaller
5) Select Mscomctl.ocx
6) Right-click on Mscomctl.ocx
7) Click Copy
8) Go back to Program Files
9) Double-click on CheetaChatPro
10) Right-click on an empty spot in the folder
11) Click Paste
If Mscomctl.ocx does not appear in the folder, start over from step 5. Reboot the computer and
try CheetaChatPro once more. If you get a popup that says "Runtime Error" DON'T PANIC! This is
normal since CheetaChatPro is very buggy. CheetaChatPro was not meant to be released. It will
have errors every now and then, but if the errors become severe, uninstall CheetaChatPro and
reinstall.
Setting CheetaChat Pro Up
First choose a screen name to use. Ad the screen name in CheetaChatPro like you would in regular
CheetaChat, by clicking Add/Change, Add. Add yuor name and password then click OK, then
click OK again and log into Yahoo! with the name. please keep in mind that you cannot use the
rooms list with CheetaChat due to the fact that it will not load.
Making A Bot
To make a bot, click Settings, Edit Macros, Robot tab. Where it says Masters, click Add and add
your name and Security Level that you will control the bot from. The security level for you
should be 10 so you have all abilties. Next where it says Response Keys, put the name you want
to command your bot from. EG:
Heero_Yuy_186 says, d.say WASSAP
Heero_Yuy_The_Bot says WASSAP
As you can see the Response Key is D. You can make it anything you like. Remember to have Allow
Remote Control checked or the bot does not work. After you set these things click OK and start
using your bot. Also keep this in mind, if you're using the NEWEST version of CheetaChat, you
will need to make your font be . Otherwise the bot sees this:

The bot cannot see the command in that.
Making A Trigger
A trigger is a device for when someone says something the bot says whats in the trigger. EG:

Heero_Yuy_The_Bot Wassap's Heero_Yuy_186
The Trigger name for that was WASSAP, and in the body of the Trigger it said :Wassap's %N. This
can be used to an advantage. If you want to flood a room make a Trigger that reponds to the word
FONT. Then in the trigger body put a smiley scroll. To make a Trigger click Settings, Edit
Macros, Triggers tab, Add. In the name of the Trigger put what you want it to repond to. In the
body of the trigger put what you want it to say when the trigger is activated. Click OK, then
click the Robot Menu, click Triggers, Enable Triggers.
