Gail and I met in 1998, playing the online game Acrophobia.  We quickly became friends, and discovered that we have a lot in common.  I can't pinpoint exactly when it happened, but I soon found I was having romantic feelings toward her, and we had never even met!  So, bravely, I sent Gail an email telling her of my feelings for her, and she replied that she had been feeling the same about me!  The rest, as they say, is history.  We met for the first time in July 99, and it was Love at first sight!  I finally asked Gail to marry me, and gave her an engagement ring for Valentine's Day 2000.  We haven't set a date yet, but it looks like I'm gonna become a Canadian, eh?
This portrait of us was taken when I visited Gail for Christmas of 2000.  Ain't we cute?
MAJOR UPDATE:  Unfortunately, Gail and I are no longer together.  The reasons are too complicated to go into here, so I won't even try.  Suffice to say that our long-distance relationship just didn't work out.
I will always love this Lady, however, and wish her the very best of everything, forever!
