August 15, 2005 1:38 pm Classes start Wednesday. I am so not ready to go back. Nothing much has happened since the last time I wrote. I worked on Thursday, and Friday I had the whole day off and was extrememly lazy. Saturday Tim and I went shopping. First we went to Verizon and got our cell phone numbers switched to local numbers, because we still had the numbers from when we bought the phones in Maine. Then we went to the mall. We both got some new pants at Old Navy, and I got some stuff at Bath and Body Works. I also got a car freshener at Yankee Candle. Then we went to eat lunch at the Olive Garden. I worked Saturday night and Sunday during the day. Today I went and got a pedicure, treated myself to lunch at IHOP (their new funnel cakes are soooo good!), and went shopping and bought myself one more pair of new jeans. I've lost about 13 pounds since April, and all of my pants are too big, so now I have three new pairs for school. I don't work today or tomorrow, so I will probably just be around the apartment being very lazy. Then classes start Wednesday, and I work Wednesday night. And I really should start doing some packing soon, since we are moving next weekend.
August 10, 2005 12:51 pm I haven't written any entries or done any work on my webpage for like a year and a half, so I decided it was time to do some updating, and I am really going to try to write every few days. This is the easiest way to keep in touch with people and let them know what's going on in my life, so I'm really going to make an effort! My summer has been pretty uneventful. I have been waitressing at Cheddar's and doing pretty much nothing else. My sister did come to visit for a week in July, so that was really fun. We went shopping, got pedicures, went to the movies, made cookies, went swimming, and went out to eat a bunch of times. Other than that, I haven't really done much this summer except planning the wedding, and I haven't even really done much of that. For more info about the wedding, visit our wedding webpage. Classes start next week, the 17th. I am so not ready to go back. This is going to be a really tough year for me. I have to take like a million classes so I can graduate on time. I'm taking five this semester: Eukaryotic Cell Biology (which is a 400 level really hard class with a really hard lab), Organic Evolution, Sociology, Public Speaking, and Behavioral Statistics (a psychology class with a lab). I am really not looking forward to any of them, except maybe sociology because it will probably be the only easy one. Hopefully I'll survive the semester. In other news, Tim and I are moving into a new apartment! We move the 26th and 27th of this month. The new apartment is only about ten minutes away from where we are now, but it's a little fancier (which means more expensive). And hopefully it will be quieter. That is mostly the reason we are moving, we can't stand the noise and loud parties here anymore. We've already called the movers and everything is all set. Now we just need to get some boxes and start packing, which is going to be a huge pain! Well, I guess that's all for now. I will attempt to update more frequently, and maybe once school starts I will have more interesting things to talk about. Right now all I do is work. I am working tonight and a double tomorrow. What fun.
