Bach/Beck

This branch of my family somehow connects with Johann Sebastian Bach, the composer, but I am unsure of the correct linkages. My great-great-great grandfather John Bach changed his last name from Bach to Beck when he settled in the United States because he was tired of hearing jokes about the 'Back-house' (which is how the Americans pronounced 'Bach'). In those times, a 'back-house' was another term for 'outhouse'. Also, apparently my great-grandmother had several husbands. I know of 1 other, Joe Feistel, but my dad says there were others besides Dean and Joe.
