I research family histories for both my ancestors, and for my wife's. Most of there families originally settled Markham Township, York County, Ontario and some of the surrounding areas including Whitchurch, Gormley, Richmond Hill, Vaughn, Maple, and Scarbourgh (Scarboro).
Some of the surnames which I am researching are: Doner, (also spelt Donner, Dohner),Baker, Horner, Heise, McClung, Weir, Davidson, Ogg, Thomson, Spencer, and Bond.
Glad you came for a visit,
Terry Doner.
I have posted a few extracts from my genealogical database. Explore, and please let me know if you find this information useful, or wrong.

The Baker family.
A Descendancy Narrative of Brillingers.
The Descendants of Peter Cober (circa 1750) to four generations.
The Descendants of John Doner (circa 1675) to Seven Generations. My ancestors.
The Descendants of Ludwig Hueber, also know as Ludwig Hoover family.
The Ancestors and Descendants of Susannah Schell. (It is in need of some word smithing. Note that if there are two dates for an event, that is because two source disagree on that fact.)
I also have available a site consisting of approximately 500 scanned images of a manuscript of the Schell family. It is too large to place here. If you are interested, let me know and we can work something out.
The Thomson family.
The Weir family.
The Descendants of Jacob Wismer (born 1864).
