Winter Dream

 As I sit here staring at the snow
Feeling the cold at ten below
Too cold to go out
Bored with the house
I gaze off and dream of Spring and Summer
Warm days with bright shining sun
Our day that is coming this very June
I dream of a beautiful day as we stand
in front of the river
Those solemn vows from my heart to yours
Our family and friends gathered round
You in your white tux and me in my pearl gown
The laughs the tears the beautiful sky
This is where I belong no need to ask why
Now the wind whistles and brings me back
Time to stop dreaming and get back to my task
