HAVANESE PUPPIES

The Havanese has dark eyes and a long tail covered with long silky hair. The profuse coat can vary from wavy to curly. This is a double-coated breed with soft hair on the outer and undercoats. The Adult coat can reach 6-8 inches and has a pearly sheen. Eye rims, the nore and lips are solid blackon all colors except the true chocolate dog. It can come in any color, including cream, gold, white, silver, blue, black, parti, and tricolors.

They are natural companion dogs, and are very gently and responsive. They become very attached to their human families and are excellent with children. They are very affectirionate and playful with a high degree of intelligence. They are very cheerful and sociable dogs that get along with anyone, including other dogs, cats, or other pets. They are easy to train. They love to observe what is going on around them. It is very sensitive to the sound of your voice, and shouting or yelling will not help, but rather make things worse. They naturally are not big barkers. They are good watch dogs and alert you when someone arrives, but is quick to make friends with the new visitor when you welcome them. Havaneses live for your every word and gesture. They should be neither timid nor aggressive. They show no cowardice, despit their size.

Adult Havanese grow to be 8-11 inches tall and 7-13 lbs in weight.

The Havanese is good for apartment life. They are very active indoors and will do okay without a yard. They are born to live in your home, not a patio or kennel. They do require plenty of exercise. The lifespan of the Havanese is about 15 years.
