The Fables of the Old Man and his Hamster

The Third bunch of Fables

IX. The Fable of the Fluted Mufti and How He Got Well

In the land of the Green Galoshes and the Pokadot Goboladi Goop lived an Old Man and His Hamster. Also in that land was a Fluted Mufti who was not well. In fact, he had not been well for many years. All of the King's Horsies and all of the Knog's Men. The Doctors agreed to one Thing: That he was suffering from an excess of small change; Which he insisted on carrying arround on his person. It has been estirmated in Official Party Oligarcial Circles that he carried up to 200 pounds of pennies and 50 pounds of large denominations. When he was asked about this he replied that Nobody Stooped for Pennies so that Nobody would steel his money and since Nobody was in the deep dark dungeon, this was an irrefutable argument. No Doctor or other person could change his mind and so he became progressively burdened and worser. Since this here Fluted Mufti was an exceeding important person in the Kingdom all of the afore mentioned King things looked high and low for somebody to lift him of this heavy burden. Finally they came to the home of the Old Man and His Hamster and pleaded with them to cure the Fluted Mufti. So the Old Man and his Hamster went to the house of the Fluted Mufti and converted him to the True faith and Worship of the Great God Mota and all that other Hoogly Stuff. Then the Fluted Mufti gave all of his change to the Temple of Mota to help Mota fill the Quota and received a Hoogly Receipt and Computer Generated Indulgence (from the Hoogly Black Computer) from the High Hoogly Priest of Mota (Who was the Old Man!). And then the Mufti was cured and found Freedom in the simple faith of Roscoe and became an Itinerant Prophet of Mota. Moral- Too much of the good thing can be a terrible burden.

X. The Fable of the unferbished Dirge

(A Fable of Roscoe's serving wench)

In the Land of the Green M'Bonkoes and Yellow Gizongkas lived an Old Man and His Hamster. Hasanana and Torquemada were their names and preying mightily was their game. Hasanana would prey 37 times a day whilst Torquemada would Eat 37 time a day in honour of the Great God Mota, The Generous.

Howsoever, all was not well in that land of Green M'Bonkoes and Yellow Gizongkas, for an Evil Dragon was draggin arround making a Mess. So Hasanana preyed 37 times to Mota whilst Torquemada ate 37 to the Great God Mota. And Mota came down from the Mudbanks of the Wash Ka Happy River and Ate up the Evil Dragon.

Moral- Maybe eating is as goood as preying?

XI. The Fable of the Green Barf.

In the land of the purple Ishkibibbles there lived an Old Man and His Hamster. Theye were both Eceeding Rightious in the sight of Mota. An a cute Angle blessed the Old Man and His Hamster. Howsoever, all was not well of the land of Ishkibibbles and the purple therof. The barf did flow down from the Pokadot Mountain and did stain all that it toughed a light shade of Yuchy Green. So the Old Man and His Hamster did prey even more Mightily that day and made 80 Sacrafices. And Mota looked downd from the Mudbanks of the Wash Ka Happy River and saw that aall was not well in the land of the purple Ishkibibbles and Mota came down amougnst the flowing green Barf and and dranked it up in One Deep Draught; And It Was DONE! Then everyone in the land was exceeding Happy and danced the Gizontska and made mery untill the wee hours.

Moral - Some people will drink dow anything.
