Getting to Evans Lake
From Seattle:

Head north on I-5 till you hit Vancouver

From downtown Vancouver:

Take the Lions Gate Bridge to Highway 99 North and head towards Squamish-Whistler Mountain. If the Lions Gte Bridge is closed due to ongoing renovations, take the Second Narrows bridge to 99 north.

From Calgary-Edmonton etc:

You are on Highway 1 heading West. Stay on 1. DO NOT take any Vancouver exits. Highway 1 goes over the Second Narrows Bridge and turns into Highway 99  North, eventually, and will lead you to Squamish.

Now that everyone's on the same highway (99), head for Squamish, about 45 minutes from Vancouver.

When you hit Squamish, look for the first traffic light. (Highway 99 & Cleveland Rd.). There will be a MacDonald's on the NW corner of this intersection.

Set your odometer to "0"

Keep going north for 9.7 Kilometers (5.9 miles)

At the 9.7 K mark you will come to an intersection (no traffic lights). The direction sign will indicate "Whistler- straight ahead/ Squamish Valley Rd and Paradise Valley Rd.- turn left

Turn left at this junction and go along Squamish Valley  Rd. for 3.6 K ( 2.2M )., where you will come to Paradise Valley Rd. (heads off to the right)

Take Paradise Valley Rd. for 2.0 K (1.2 M )

At this point, you should see North Vancouver Outbound School on your right and the EVANS LAKE turn-off on your left (dirt road, heading uphill)

Follow the signs from there and you should find beer. Yuo've earned it.
