The change is I will not have any regular dates at the Belle. Hopefully we can see each other at Lucille's. And once again I want to thank you for all your support over the 11 years at the Blue Belle..HD .  Harvey is a native of Oklahoma.  He has been writing and performing music for over 40 years.  And has had 39 of his songs published and recorded.  He is the owner of Furrow Music Publishing(BMI), Gusher Records.

Harvey wrote the lyrics of the theme song for the Oklahoma Country Music Assoc., the Procrastinaters Of America and Support The Troops, INC..  He was a board member of the Midwest Country Entertainer's Assoc.  He was president of the Songwriters of Oklahoma for nine concecutive years.
 
Harvey's first album "Dreams On The Line" was released in England and reached number nine on the album charts.  His song "Dogs Don't Care If You're Ugly" was number one for over 3 months on a regional radio station.

Harvey was host of a live music show on KOKC Radio in Guthrie, OK for 4 1/2 years;  Performed every Thursday night and Saturday afternoon at the world famous "Blue Belle Saloon & Resturant" for 5 1/2 years; Two years in Branson, MO with his nationally known "Almost Together" Trio; On the Louisianna Hayride; Regular at the National Cowboy Hall Of Fame Annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering; Hosted "Southwest Contry Junction," a TV show aired in 18 countries; The Tennessee and Oklahoma State Fairs and many other vinues over the world.

Harvey narrates children's cowboy books for Pelican Publishing Company out of Gretna, Louisianna.  He still performs solo with his guitar and banjo 5 to 10 times a month at special events and parties.

Harvey was inducted into the MSSC Football Hall of Fame in 1994.  He was an instructor at Moore Norman VoTech teaching Creative Song Lyrics.  He retired in 1996 from the US Army with 10 years active duty and a total of 21 years of military service.
