- There will be a female D.A.D.A teacher.

- The book will be shorter than the last (rumored to be about 500 pages).

- Harry, Ron, and Hermione will be taking their O.W.L's.

- We'll find out why Voldemort killed Lily and James.

- Romance between Ron and Hermione (maybe Cho and Harry?)?

- J.K. Rowling says that "You will be very suprised to see who the new Quidditch captain is..." So this probably means it isn' t Harry.

- J.K. Rowling said in an interview "One of the main characters in the book will die, one of Harry's fans..." People belive this to be Hagrid...when Robbie Coltrane (actor playing Hagrid in the movies) was asked if he was signed up for all the movies, he replied "Sort of."

- Hagrid may have permission to use magic by Dumbledore.

- Another wizarding school may play Hogwarts at Quidditch.

- Fleur may be seen? She said at the end of book 4 that she wanted to improve her English.

- There might be a new Minister of Magic?

- Snape might go back to Voldemort as a spy for Dumbledore.

- In book five Harry has to examine exactly what death means, in even closer ways.
