Vidwan K. Prakasam (1909 - 1976)

Educated at Manalur Lower Secondary School, Kandassamkatavu Government High Schhool. Learned Drawing at Thrissur Art School, passed relevant Exams conducted by Madras Government. Passed Malayaam Vidwan Examination conducted by Madras University in 1935.

Started Government service at Nenmara School in 1935 as Malayalam Pandit. Worked at Nharakkal, Kunnamkulam, Ernakulam, Peringoottukara, Kandassamkatavu, Manalur High Schools and Ramavarmapuram Training School. Retired in 1965.

Published many anthologies of poems, condensed translations of Les Miserables, David Copperfield, etc.
