| Black Tear Ministries is based out of Minnesota and made up of people who have a heart for the lost, seek to glorify God in everything they do, and love music and band promotion. Our goal as a ministry is to help break down sterotypes that people tend to have about christians in general. Music styles, dress styles, worship styles ect. Black Tear is outreach oriented. Our heart is to see people come to Jesus and see the magnitude of His love. We want to create a place for believers and non-believers to come, no matter what they look like ect., and feel totally comfortable. We, meaning everyone in the ministry, have expirienced alot of rejection from the church and believers. Why? Because we looked different, liked different music and werent willing to be religious. We know that God looks at the heart and not the outward man. We know that God wants relationship with us not just religious acts. Basically, in addition to contributing to the music scenes, we just wanna have an open heart and open arms to those that the church neglects to reach out to. Given, there are alot of awesome churches who aren't judgemental and are totally open to having all sorts of people be apart of their church body..... However, in our particular area in central Minnesota, we havent found many if any. Aside from the outreach part of the ministry and from the band promotion... above all we want God to be glorified. We want to bless God. If nothing else, if no one is blessed by God, if no sterotypes are broken, if no one likes the music.... its all good because we know that God delights in our worship. He sees are hearts. If we can just live totally hardcore for God lifestyles... Totally living it up and serving God.... Then I think that God is blessed. What do we believe? Well, we believe that every word in the Bible are the very words of God. That he spoke into the darkness and created light. That He breathed into dirt and made man. That he celebrates variety. Just like he created variety on the earth.... in animals, plants, colors ect. We also believe that he celebrates variety in man..... in worship styles, dress styles, music styles ect. We believe that Jesus was born as the son of God. That he lived a holy, sinless life and did many miracles by the power of God that lived in him. We believe that Christ died for us willingly because he loved us, and that after 3 days he asended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God. We believe that because of Christs death we can now be forgiven because he died for out sins. |
