RETIREMENT TRIBUTE

THE BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN
JIMMY VALIANT

1964-2004

Thanks Jimmy for the 40 years of giving Wrestlers like myself not only a dream but reality.

I have had the opportunity to meet Jimmy Valiant and some of his B.W.C Boys. For me it was an honor to not just to meet the Boogie, but to be able to Wrestle on the same card as the Legend himself.
We got to hang out at some autogaph sessions we did to promote for the upcomming event. After we were finished taking photos and sighning autographs for our fans it was my turn to approach Jimmy.

I brought some Wrestling magizines that were from 1984 over to Jimmy's table and asked him to sighn them for me.I went from being the Wrassler to being a fan. Jimmy says to me( Sure brother). He got a kick out of his old photos.I asked Jimmy if he had and advice for me and he said:
KEEP ON KEEPING ON.
Jimmy told me about his Wrestling camp.
The camp was called BOOGIES WRESTLING CAMP.
BWC started in Sept 1992 so other Wrestlers like my self could make all their dreams come true. The camp is 52 Sundays a year and runs from
12:00 noon -4:00pm. c/o Jimmy Valiant 2916 Allegheny Springs Road Shawsville, VA 24162
Jimmy started out his carrer May 5 1964 in Chicago Il, and Frank Zella owner of Acres Health Club who was Jimmy's boss got him started into the Wrestling World along with Dick The Bruiser who showed Jimmy the ropes.
Jimmy has wrestled in NWA, AWA, IWA, WCCW, MACW, USWA, SCW, WCW, WWF and New Dimension Wrestling.
In Jimmy's 40 years of Professional Wrestling he has held 5 World Wrestling Heavyweight titles,5 WW Tag Team Titles, 4 T.V Titles and 4 Southern Heavy Weight Titles. World Class Championship Wrestling heavyweight title twice The Boogie's patented move was the flying elbow and with this he has taken out many apponents such as Paul Jones     Magic Dragon     The Great Kabuki     Jack & Jerry Brisco     Bugsy McGraw     Ivan Koloff (The Russian Assassin)    Gary Hart     Jerry Lawler    Ric Flair     Bruiser Brody    Nick Bockwinkel     Kamala    Harley Race     Jos Leduc     Fritz Von Erich     Beastmaster Rick Link    Terry & Dory Funk, and The One Man Gang

Jimmy is a very friendly man but in the ring is another story. Where do you think Wrestlers like myself learned it from. The legends of Pro Wrestling is where it all started and untill death do us part legends like Jimmy Valiant is where Professional Wrestling will end.
THANKS JIMMY
