Welcome to our website, we are based in Auckland, New Zealand and are the current Auckland Premier League Champions and Kiwi Super Bowl Champions.

We are proud members of
Gridiron New Zealand and were founding members.

Our teams play in age group and senior competitions from under 13 through to senior women and men's levels.

Pride Head Coach, Joe Ashfield comes to us from the Schwabish Hall Unicorns in the German League. He played college football at St Johns and Drake Universities. He hails from Minneapolis.

This is Joe's second year with the club.

A MOVE TO SUNNYNOOK PARK

The club moves to Sunnynook Park this season and take over the clubhouse from October through March. The clubhouse has a bar, weights room, kitchen, coaches office and huge locker room. It also has training lights for pre-season training.

WE ARE THE AUCKLAND PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS


This is this is our first trophy in our short history, a great day for the club.


PRIDE INVITED TO AN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT IN 2003


The Pride has been invited as New Zealand's representative to an international tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa in  August 2003. Other confirmed teams are from Bahamas, Great Britain, USA, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama and Puerto Rico.

We can confirm the following players as joining us this season:

Joe Ashfield will return for his second year as head coach and quarterback.

Andy Gregory (C) of St Johns University, Minneapolis.

Christoph  Schreiner (FS, KR) of the Graz Giants and Austrian national team.

Roland Horn (K, P, WR) of the Graz Giants (Austria)

Sean Donoghue (LB, FB) of the Farnham Knights (England) and Great Britain national team.

Darryn Ball (LB) of the London Blitz (England) and Welsh national team.

We are still negotiating with 2 other Americans.
