Plays I have Written (and admit to have written)

Longer Plays (1 hour or more)

1. Keeping America Safe: A Romantic Comedy (2M, 1F, several "optional" roles)
In this full-length distopian play satirizes the Patriot Act, a young woman named Betsy Ross gets a job at the Department of Homeland Security hoping that she will do her job to catch terrorists and keep America Safe. Instead, She is sent by the Department to Seduce and Marry a man who the Department decided (for idiotic and racially motivated reasons) was a terrorist.

2. 120 Days of America (4M, 4F)
This extremely satirical 1 act dark comedy which would be a great choice for college theatre groups. In this play, Adam O'Riley finds himself on a reality T.V. show in the year 2018. The show happens to be Real World Studios' latest and greatest hit, "Menage a Trios: The show where we get three strangers to f*ck eachothers brains out!" One of the "Strangers" is drugged and unconsious thorughout the show. Adam refuses to to participate in the "f*cking out of brains" and prevents any of the other strangers to f*ck the unconsious girl's brains out. This angers the producers of the show and hilarity ensues.

3. Toyland Trouble (9M, 5F, 1GN, lots of possiblilty for double casting)
This is a full-length Comedy of Iambic proportions that asks the question that many mentally unstable readers of shakespeare have asked: What if Shakespeare based MacBeth on his life and killed all the other playwrights so that he would be known as the best playwright of all time?

4. Eating a Baby: The play where they eat a baby (4M, 3F, 3GN)
In this 1-act comedy, English High School kids living in 18th century northern Ireland put on a play based on Johnathan Swift's Essay "A modest Proposal" which codemns and mocks the way the Irish were treated by the English at the time. A baby is also eaten in their play. Their teacher, Amanda, decides to censor their play saying that it is politically incorrect and would offend rich English people who see nothing wrong with inhumane treatment poor Irish people. So the kids use their acting skills to convince Amanda that an Irish Revolution, in which English people are treated inhumanely, has occured in order to show her the other side of the story, so that she will let them put on their play.

Shorter Plays (less than one hour)

1. The Secret to Life Itself(2M, 2F)
This 45 minute play has been described as a dark sci-fi comedy. In this play, General Johnathan Drayton discovers an equation that can foretell everything that a human being will ever do in their entire life. In the process of discovering and perfecting this equation, he makes a young woman's life miserable.

2. The Wrong Number (4M, 2F)
In this bizarre 10-minute play, a 1950's esque family man Roger Mann gets a call from someone looking for a woman named "Suzie" who got preagnant by a man named Brian. The caller is Suzie's mom and is at first convinced that Roger really is Brian and is playing tricks on her. After Roger convinces the woman he is not brian, he realizes that he himself is not fully convinced of who he is, and his friends and family only confuse him even more.

3. The Quest For Diversity(4M, 5F)
In this 15 minute play, Carman Ezekial White of Whitesfeild high is the only one of her freinds without a minority as a best freind. When someone writes "Go Back to Ireland, you filthy Spud-Eating Mick" on Seamus O'McFinneyhan's locker, all her freinds say she did it. The Principal gives her one last chance to prove she is not racist by sending her on a quest to make freinds with a minority by the end ofthe school day.

4. The Sensitivity Machine (1M, 1F, 2GN)
A 10-minute play where the future is a world where everyone is obsessed with not being offended. In this Future Quark Lepton wrote a play called "The Politically Incorrect Murder Mystery," whose only point is to offend people. The Government does not like this and so they decided on a proper punishment for him.

Rock Operas

Steve Nuzum and I have also written 2 rock operas.

1. The Patrick Hall Story
This Rock Opera tells the story of rock Patrick Hall's Musical Career. From his start in Death Metal band "Cadaver Pool" to his great commercial successes of his ventures with hair band "Von Hall" and the R&B outfit "Patty Hall and the Pat-tones" this show covers many many genres of music. Patrick also writes several rock operas in the course of his "story" including "Robots of Troy" and "Rehab! the rock opera."

2. Robots of Troy
"What if The Trojan War had robots?" Patrick Hall once asked. In this rock opera that spoofs classical culture and epic ambition, you can find out.
