A little about me......
I have always believed Child Care to be the most rewarding job. I first began my child care path right out of high school assisting my Aunt with her own Family Home Child Care "Central Park" in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have always aspired to have a group home just like hers. I have had much experience working in her home then after her death working in child care centers.
I prefer the home and group home programs personally. I am the eldest of nine children (we are all aprox. two years apart) and that alone gave me much experience with children. My youngest brother and my oldest daughter are two & a-half years apart. So their has always been children in my life.
My children are teenagers now and love helping me out when I do crafts with the day care children. They also love assisting with the finger plays and movement/music time. I feel truley blessed that I can open my home to child care. |
