October is another birthday month. John turned 9 yrs old this month.

Things began to settle down this month. We began to turn this house into a home. We painted nearly every room in the house, purchased blinds, curtains, new locks, and more. In the middle of everything, "Oreo," the guinea pig had a litter of two little guinea pigs:
And you just KNEW it was going to happen. We adopted a stray kitten, and made him a new house pet. (much to my dismay). "Ollie," the snob, is now a full fledged member:
