| 4-12-03 UPDATE A lot of things have been updated in my life recently. My age for one (I turned 16 on 3/26), and my hair color for another (it went from brown to pink to blonde to black). Since the last time I have updated this website, i've learned how to play a drumset, and now have one half-assembled in my bedroom leaving close to no walkroom at all. So in honor of all these updates in my life, I have decided this website is long overdue for an update. I've put up a couple of new pictures on the picture page, but the crew & I have plans to create mischeif on our beautiful city of Boston during our spring break which begins next Friday- I can't say too much but I'm definately bringing my camera along. I am also planning on adding a couple of new pages: the music page- the name says it all, and the "picks" page where I'm going to review different stuff that i'm into and would reccommend. Most links are up, so feel free to surf around this site even though its currently under construction- so heads up for falling objects (hahaha, I crack muself up). Don't forget to sign the guestbook! | 5-26-03 UPDATE I finally put up the notorious Hooter Girl picture on the Picture page...memories *sigh*. What else has gone on with me since my last update? Well you can check out all the melodrama in my Dead Journal, but to some it up- we finally produced the first annual Latino Night: Latino Gigante (hee-GAN-tay) at Latin Academy. Unfortunately I was too caught up in the moment to actually take pictures of it...and I don't know who has pictures, but if I can find them then I'll post them up here some day. Among taking care of the financial responsibilites of putting on the show (I am BLA's Talented and Gifted Hispanic Program's Treasurer)- I also had the privelage of shoving 24 helium-filled balloons in the back seat of my dad's Chevy Lumina- then got to ride underneath them and got very high before the show. I also got to perform a Venezuelan Folk Dance called Joropo (ho-RO-po) and then Yetunde, Elena, and I performed under the name "Esas Locas (those crazy girls)" a Latin-Hip Hop dance medly. So..next on Vanna's agenda would be wrapping up finals & school hopefully with a GPA over 3.0, assembling my 1/2 assembled drumset,working @ HSTF's Summer Literacy Day Camp and convincing my parents to let me keep my hair black and go to the Warped Tour this year...let the summer begin! | 6-2-03 UPDATE YAY! Its finally friggin summer already! Now I have more time to work on this thing- and I hope I can make this site much more spiffy because, yesterday my mom won a digital camera (ooh la la) in a raffle, and I figured out how to use it first so I'm going to be using it a lot this summer. Also, the computer has conveniently moved from the living room to my room so now, I get to be lazy and not have to get out of bed and walk down one whole flight of stairs whenever I want to use it. I'm gonna be working a lot this summer,but I still think I will have plenty of time on my hands. Yetunde is leaving tomorrow for Maine for 3 weeks, and the Mohos are leaving in and out of Boston, traveling the world, and then my own Mommy is leaving me for a week to go to Venezuela. Meanwhile, I will enjoy the crazy weather of Boston, teaching Summer Literacy Day Camp, Balletmania, and Drivers Ed. Woop-dee-do. Actually, this summer should be fun, even if I'm not going to the South of France. Look, finally a picture of me and my black hair- I was testing out the digital camera last night! |

| The color is actually fading into a wierd, reddish-brownish-black, so I'm gonna touch it up soon.Oh- and yes those are new glasses, and yes they were prescribed, I'm not making a fashion statement alothough they do make me look sorta emo, don't you think? Sonya, aren't you proud? LOL. You're online test scores don't count for much. Its in the look....ok imma shutup now, before I make my self sound stupid....or did I already do that? |
