The Hanover Mothers' Center, located in Hanover, Pennsylvania, is a place where women who want a place where they can meet other mothers and discuss issues relevant to themselves and their families can go. We are part of the National Association of Mothers' Centers (NAMC).

Motherhood can be exhilarating, frightening, joyful, anxiety-producing, confusing, and can also be the most fulfilling yet undervalued job in the world. Mothers' Centers offer mothers a place to learn, to listen and to be listened to.

The National Association of Mothers' Centers (NAMC) addresses the needs of mothers through a network of programs that:

• offer information and support
• break the isolation of motherhood
• advance maternal health and well-being
• recognize the importance of mothers to society, valuing both their paid & unpaid work
• become caring communities for mothers and families.

Some of the ways that we support each other are by weekly playgroups, mom's night out, Discussion Nights, Craft Nights, Birth & Healing Circle, Book Club, holiday parties ... and by just being there for each other.
