Archbishop Hannan High School Physics

Welcome to the home page for Archbishop Hannan High School's physics class. Archbishop Hannan High School is located in Meraux, Louisiana and is a coed Catholic high school. Currently, all seniors take physics at Archbishop Hannan.

Physics Web Site

In the site, students are able to take online quizzes on a variety of physics topics. Students can also check a calendar of events to keep up with class. Plans are underway for a message board as well.

For now, the physics web site for Hannan is being hosted by Geocities. There are plans for the physics web site to be moved to Archbishop Hannan's main site, which is currently under construction.

Information for Current Physics Students

For those that have visited the site before, the physics web site is undergoing a revamping. This page will remain static (unchanging). However, the current events page will change.

Also, a calendar of events will be updated. Do not ask in class if there were handouts - check the calendar page. It will have links to all handouts or how to obtain the handouts. Be sure to ask OUTSIDE of class time for any handouts.

For those that are interested, physics is being align with the state benchmarks for science. To see the year in physics broken down, see the course overview.

On an unrelated note, a paper for a fluid mechanics class on the dynamics if a curve ball has been posted. Please read and offer a review of what you think. The paper is titled "Baseballs and Boundary Layers".

A paper completed for a Geometry class has also been posted. The paper is titled "The Evolution of Geometry and Its Marriage to Physics." Please read and offer any insights you may have.
