INTRODUCING: HANK'S JALOPY DEMONS

JDs racin' In 1996 a call was made for an authentic Rock-a-Billy band in Melbourne Australia. It was answered when Hank got together with a group of musicians that became Hank’s Jalopy Demons.

With their wild stage antics and tight sound, Hank fronted the outfit on vocals and rhythm guitar and hitting the music with a feel that’s right on target. The ‘JDs’, as they are affectionately known, give it all they’ve got whenever they play. They always aim to please their audience; with the result that the JDs had to produce a seven-inch extended play record back in 1997 by popular demand.

On this record, the JDs’ creative energies delivered an authentic yet original flavour. Playing their own tracks, ‘Gasoline Baby’, ‘Go JD Go’, ‘Hot Rod Spaceman’ and ‘Sometimes’, their versatility and imagination became the JDs’ own unique sound. Each track is individual, while never once straying from the rockin’ style loved by Hank’s Jalopy Demons

Rockin' Sydney 2002 While having a couple of line up changes over time, they’ve continued to rock it up throughout the eastern states of Australia as well as at the Shifters’ Hot Rod show at the Viva Las Vegas 2000 weekender.
