INTRODUCTION

The HammerHeads are scuba diving enthusiasts that get together in the name of fun and diving. Purely a social
crowd, the HammerHeads explore their local waters together. Monthly group dives, theme parties, social
events, contests and prizes are just a part of the adventure. Above all, the HammerHeads are about scuba
diving and trying to create a buzz about the sport. The HammerHeads are the wave of the future of diving...

PUTTING THE FUN BACK INTO DIVING.

HammerHeads Life... The HammerHeads are from all walks of life and level of experience, from beginner snorkelers to advanced technical divers ...the only requirements are a sense of adventure, a passion for the water and a healthy respect
for the environment. HammerHeads Ecosystem...The HammerHeads are located in 20 cities across the
country - Long Island, Boston, Philadelphia, and Virginia Beach in the Northeast; Minneapolis, Chicago and Detroit
in the Midwest; San Diego, Los Angeles/Orange County, San Francisco and the greater Bay Area, Denver,
Houston, and Seattle in the West; and Charlotte, Charleston, Atlanta, Pensacola, Jacksonville, Miami, and
Gainesville in the South. This nationwide network provides a collective knowledge of each region's hottest dive spots
and provides divers with the opportunity to socialize with other divers, whether diving in their own area or while
visiting other parts of the country.  HammerHeads Out and About...The HammerHeads hold frequent group dives and social
gatherings. Committed to preserving the environment, the HammerHeads also meet several times a year for beach
clean-ups and reaching out to new divers. Frequently, HammerHeads events are followed with a social outing of
some sort, whether grubbing at a restaurant or hanging out at a favorite dive bar. HammerHeads chapters also
compete against each other for prizes including diving vacations and scuba equipment.
HammerHeads Support...The HammerHeads are funded in part by DEMA, the Diving Equipment and Marketing Association

(DEMA).
Founded in 1976, DEMA is a non-profit global association comprised of over 1,000 companies and
organizations whose mission is to promote and provide sustainable growth in recreational diving and snorkeling
through education and training while protecting the underwater environment.
