Phil Asdot - "Smanto" (don't ask me why). I grew up watching my father play air guitar to Led Zeppelin and listening to my mom sing in the choir.  So, I went out, beat a kid up (You know who you are) and got my first guitar.  Over the last 12 years I have played in 6 different styled bands which toured across New England.  We released numerous demos and a 12 song CD.  Influences ranged from Aerosmith to Pantera. I was born and raised in Boston ("Ya dude, wiked pissa!").  It was impossible not to be inspired by all of the great musicians who came out of Boston local music scene. Currently living on the South Shore with my beautiful girlfriend,  and 11 year old son, still finding the time to balance work, a relationship, fatherhood and Halcyon. In April of 2000 I started my job at Guitar Center where I met the infamous Jake, who in turn introduced me to Kirk and Cat - and the rest will be history.
